Crop Cutting Experiments ( CCE)
Crop cutting experiments are Multi staged Stratified Random sampling methods used to estimate crop yields of a location. This is physical harvest of the sampled plots identified by the agricultural statistics department of each state.
It should be regularly conducted in order to obtain fair, precise and accurate estimate of yield of the crops. These experiments are conducted through stratified random sampling technique taking block as a primary unit of planning
KCMS Team has vast expertise in carrying out several CCE’s across Various Geographies for several crops, for both Rabi and Khareef seasons. We have moved from traditional method of Conducting CCE to more technology backed methods by using Remote Sensing Data , Satellite Imageries, use of Mobile Apps and Drones.
